Welcome to the journey of the Sacrament of Confirmation, the third sacrament of Christian initiation. The steps towards this sacrament are:
- STEP 1 provide your child’s baptismal and First Holy Communion certificate at the point of registration
- STEP 2 8th & 9th graders attend a retreat (Sunday, October 18 – 1:45pm – 6:00pm at Holy Family Retreat Center)
- STEP 3 complete & return the Confirmation Data Sheet by year’s end (8th & 9th grade)
- STEP 4 compile a review of your service hours and lessons learned
- STEP 5 attend all 10 classes
- STEP 6 live out your faith internally & externally, meaning, please go to Mass, pray, be kind, do good
- STEP 7 the sacrament will be conferred at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Hartford, CT in the Spring. The date will be announced early in 2027.

Faith Formation registration is open August 1 through August 31, 2026. Space is limited as we rely on volunteers to teach classes. Consider being a Catechist- training provided! After August 31, children will be admitted in the order they are registered provided there is space available.
